I think the future in India is free VOIP hot-spots like the Free Newspaper reading centers sponsored by Political Parties, Trusts & Brands.

I'm sure with Skype reducing the rates to $ 12 unlimited calls Yahoo might also come up with better scheme, rumours are Geodesic also has a Skype Killer.
